Our business is led by two registered builders with decades of hands-on trade experience across carpentry, bricklaying, tiling, and custom home construction. Every project is managed directly by the builders — not outsourced or passed through layers of supervisors.
From kitchen upgrades through to full home renovations and apartment projects, we approach every job with the same commitment to quality, safety, and attention to detail.
We proudly service Metro Melbourne and focus on projects with a minimum budget of $15,000 to ensure proper planning, compliance, and finish standards.

Who’s behind Prestige Renovation Works?
Prestige Renovation Works is a shared trading name used by two individually registered Domestic Builders (Unlimited):
Kenan Hendek – DB-U 67766 and Vedat (Sam) Karatas – DB-U 71252.
All domestic building contracts are entered into directly with either Kenan or Vedat as the licensed builder responsible for your project. Their name and licence number appear on your contract and insurance documents.

Meet The Builders Behind Prestige Renovation Works
Vedat (Sam) Karatas – Registered Builder
Sam became a registered builder in 2009 after working his way through the trade as a qualified carpenter. He has delivered over 15 custom home projects and specialises in structural carpentry, construction sequencing, and quality control.
Sam brings a disciplined, detail-driven approach to every build, ensuring that workmanship, compliance, and site management meet professional standards.
Kenan (Ken) Hendek – Registered Builder
Ken began his trade career as a bricklayer in 2000 and progressed through carpentry and tiling before moving into residential construction. He has built over 20 homes and has extensive experience managing complex renovation projects.
Ken’s practical problem-solving skills and on-site leadership ensure projects run efficiently while maintaining high-quality finishes.
